Two volumes of the Zohar, on the Books of Shemot-Devarim. Slavita, [1805].
One volume on the Book of Shemot, and a second volume on the Books of Vayikra-Devarim. Approbation by R. Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev on the verso of title page of the Shemot volume.
Although the title page indicates the names of the printers "Dov Ber son of Yisrael Segal and Dov Ber son of Pesach", the owner of the Slavita printing firm at that time was R. Moshe Shapira, rabbi of Slavita.
Vol. I (Shemot): 269, [3] leaves. Vol. II (Vayikra-Devarim): 115, [1], 117-299, [1] leaves. 20 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains (ink stains on several leaves). Tears to several leaves in both volumes, repaired with paper. Many inscriptions on several leaves. Worming to several leaves. Stamps in Russian. Large open tear to upper part of title page of Vayikra-Devarim vol., with photocopy replacement of missing part. New bindings.
