Yosef Da'at, or Eil Progresso. A Hebrew and Spanish journal of the history of Yisrael in Turgema land [Turkey], published twice a month by Avraham Danon. Adrianople, 1888-1889. Mostly in Ladino, a small part in Hebrew.
"Journal that spreads light on the history of the Jewish people dwelling in the lands of European and Asian Turkey and all that befell them from the day they came to dwell there until today". Articles and studies about the history of the Jews of the Ottoman Empire. Twenty issues, each issue sixteen pages. Apparently, no more issues were printed. The text is in Ladino printed in Rashi script and the Hebrew text in square letters, without vowels. 336 pages, 24 cm. Fair-good condition. Dry and acidic paper, tears, detached leaves.
