Yalkut Re'uveni, Kabbaklistic essays and Midrashim on the Bible. Amsterdam, c. 1700. Second edition.
Tens of glosses of homiletic-academic content [part of the glosses are written in pencil]
Inside the book is a letter containing a halachic question relating to ritual calligraphy, in a different handwriting [typical to the Austro-Hungarian style of c. 1860], and on the page notes in another handwriting similar to the handwriting of the glosses. Apparently the recipient of the letter also wrote the glosses. The letter was sent by "Rabbi Chaim Rosenfeld, ritual scribe from Stampe" to the "Illustrious Rabbi, leader of Jewry in exile… Av Bet Din and mentor to the community of D"B".
Page 68: Old ink Stamp in Dutch.
Copy missing: 2-25, 27-178 leaves (instead: [1], 25, 27-184 leaves; [1], 9 leaves) 31cm. Good-fair condition. Stains and slight moth damage. No binding.
