Early edition of the writings of Priscian (Priscianus Caesariensis; born ca. late 5th century), who is considered to be the most important Latin grammarian in late Ancient History. Contains articles on meter and prosody, literary theory and fragments by various Latin writers.
Bound in a nice vellum binding with metal clasps.
[3] leaves, 936 pp, [9] leaves, 16 cm. Good condition. Stains and blemishes. Notations on the inside binding, the title page and several pages. Bookplate. The binding is worn and damaged. Parts of the clasps are missing.
