Seven photographs taken during the War of Independence. Tel Aviv and other locations, ca. 1947.
One large photograph, by Beno Rotenberg, features the ruins of a building; six small photographs show mainly fighters. Some of the photographs are annotated: "After the conquest of the 'Metzudah' in Shechunat HaTikva", "Dizengoff Street on the day of the Big Curfew", and so on. A few with the photographer's ink-stamp.
22x15cm; 8.5x6.5cm. Good condition, some with slight stains and creases.
