"HaOr", "Daily Newspaper for New and Literature", edited by Eliezer Ben-Yehuda. First year, issues 1-23 (bound together). Jerusalem, 1910.
Issues 1-23 of the newspaper "HaOr" edited by Eliezer Ben-Yehuda – first year of the appearance of the newspaper under this name.
"HaZvi" / "HaOr" was a Hebrew newspaper published in Ottoman Jerusalem during the years 1884-1915, in a varying form and under various names (due to the difficulties the Turkish censorship created for the editorial staff). It was known for its struggle against the old Yishuv and its values and served ben-Yehuda as a platform for spreading the values of Zionism and reviving the Hebrew language. Many of the intellectuals of the new Yishuv were published in the newspaper.
