A velvet Tefillin Bag. Morocco, early 20th century.
Velvet, gold and silver threads on cardboard.
Shield shaped bag, on one side an inscription with the name of the owner: "Mordechai Alaluf", on the other side another inscription, with floral decoration around. The bag has tassels and braided laces.
Length: 21cm, width: 14cm, fair-good condition, unraveled threads.
