Rabbi Eliezer Ze'ev Merilus the Rebbe of Buchach (1853-1946) was the son of Rabbi Yosef Aharon of Dorohoi. He was a close disciple of Rabbi Chaim of Sanz. He served in the rabbinate of Pashtzlov on the Wisla. In 1913 he succeeded his father as Rabbi and Rebbe of Buchach. (Encyclopedia of Chasidut, 1, pages 266-267).
