Paper, acrylic paint, colored paper and various pieces of wood. Dated; one of the paintings is signed.
Three large collage paintings depicting the building process of the Land of Israel. Builders, a building and trucks supplying equipment are portrayed in one work; in another – workers planting and dancing with a tent in the background. In the third painting workers are depicted constructing a building. The artist used a minimalistic design. The painting has no background details except for a reddish ground line. Depth is achieved through the zigzag perspective.
Uri Feiner graduated the Commercial Art department at the New Bezalel art academy, Jerusalem, in 1948. See: “Bezalel 100”, edited by David Tartakover and Gideon Ofrat, Volume 2, pp. 156; 213.
