Passover Haggadah. 1945.
Non-traditional Haggadah. Typewritten and stenciled in blue and purple with simple illustrations. Following "This year slaves, next year free people" appears the writing "we shall be there free, independent, not under foreign rule, since is it possible to be in Eretz Israel and not be free?". Illustrations of the sun, palm trees and a chain consisting of eight links were printed on the cover. A text by Berl Katzenelson was attached to the inner side of the front cover; to the inner side of the back cover was attached a leaf with "Imrey Chen". [1] title cover, [25] leaves, 16.5X20.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains. Detached leaves. Creases at borders of leaves. Two pin-holes through all of the leaves (remnants of binding by thread). The cover as well as the first and last leaves are mounted on Bristol paper. Printed on different kinds of paper.
