Two postcards with photographs of Albert Einstein which were taken during his visit to Palestine in 1923.
1. A group photograph, presumably from Albert Einstein's visit to Rishon LeZion. The photograph shows Einstein and his wife, Elsa, the eldest of the Biluyim, Menashe Meirowitz, the head of the local council of Rishon LeZion Dov Chaviv Lubman, and others. Signed in the plate in Hebrew: "Photographer M. Amitai". Stamped on verso in Hebrew: "Photographer M. Amitai Rechovot".
Approx. 8.5x13.5 cm. Good condition. Creases. Minor stains on verso.

Albert Einstein visited Palestine only once, in 1923. During the visit, he delivered a lecture in Jerusalem on the Theory of Relativity and toured Tel-Aviv (where he was bestowed the title of "Honorary Citizen" of the city), Rishon LeZion and other cities.
