Two letters by Rabbi Ya'akov Sender Greenberg, one with a detailed description of the last illness of the Slonim Rebbe Yissachar Leib Weinberg in 1928. The second letter is from 1935 during the time he served as Rabbi of Rosh.
Rabbi Ya'akov Sender Greenberg (murdered in the Holocaust during the summer of 1942), a Slonim" Chassid" who studied in Lithuanian "yeshivot" in Slonim and Radin, served as Rabbi of Rosh (near Volkavisk), as teacher in the" Beit Yisrael Yeshiva" in Stolin, and Rabbi of Maytchet. He had responsa correspondence with the leading rabbis of his generation, Rabbi Chaim Ozer etc. His book "Kochav MiYa'akov" on the laws of divorce was printed in Warsaw in 1938.
