The Ga’on Rabbi Raphael Zilberman, born in Uman in 1839, immigrated with his parents to Eretz Yisrael at the age of 11. Served as Av Beit Din of Safed from 1872 until his death in 1916. Recipient of ordination, Rabbi Aharon Goldzal (Otzar HaRabbanim 1519), served as member of rabbinical bureau in Tiberias during period of British Mandate.
