Before the title page, after it and on the page itself are many ownership inscriptions: "Salomon Quetsch" and "this book belongs to the erudite and proficient Torah scholar – nationally renowned for his acumen, Av Bet Din of the Leipnik community". An additional inscription ascribes ownership to "Eliezer Miller".
Rabbi Shlomo Kvetch (died 1856, Otzar Harabbanim 18602) was one of the leading Rabbis of his generation. Rabbi of Leipnik and Nikolsburg. Author of "Chochmat Shlomo. Copied and published the writings of his mentor, Rabbi Mordechai Bennet. (He is eulogized in "Divrei Maharya" by Rabbi Yehuda Assad).
122 leaves, 36cm. fair condition, detached pages, of which some are worn. Binding torn and worn.
