Rabbi Shlomo son of Zemach Duran (Otzar HaRabbanim 18407), "the latter Rashba"tz", of the great sages of North Africa from the 16th Century. Descendant of the author of Responsa of the Tashbe"tz and son of the Rashba"sh, from the Family Duran dynasty who occupied the seat of the Algerian Rabbinate for centuries. Together with his relative – Rabbi Shlomo Duran – he compiled the Halachic Responsa "Chut HaMeshulash", that was printed as fourth Vol. of Responsa of the Tashbe"tz.
