Three medals – Jewish-German physicians. 19th century.
1. Obverse: Relief portrait of Elias Henschel, 1755-1839, German physician of Breslau, gynecology specialist. Reverse: Dedication in Latin, 1837. Diameter: 38 mm.
2. Obverse: Portrait of physician Johann Stieglitz, 1767-1840, encircled by an inscription in German. Marked: Brandt F. Reverse: Man standing in front of a Roman temple, with a stick in one hand with a winding snake. In the other hand the man holds a bouquet with the name Stieglitz. A date: XXV April MDCCCXXXIX (April 25, 1839). Diameter: 47 mm.
3. Obverse: Relief portrait of Moritz Heinrich Romberg, 1795-1873, German physician of Berlin. Marked: W. Kullrich F [Friedrich Wilhelm Kullrich]. Reverse: Dedication in Latin, April 1867. Diameter: 60 mm.
