Three letters handwritten and signed by Rabbi Chanoch Bornstein of Sochaczew and his family, to relatives in the US. Jerusalem, 1954-1961. [One letter was sent to Rebbe Avraham Englard of Radzyn].
Rebbe Chanoch Henich Bornstein (1897-1965), son of the Rebbe, author of "Shem MiShmuel", an outstanding genius of revealed and hidden Torah, but did not agree to be crowned as rebbe until after the death of his brothers Rebbe David of Sochaczew and Rebbe Avraham of Kutna during the Holocaust. He re-established the Sochaczew Chassidism in his Beit Midrash and the Sochaczew Yeshiva in the Bayit Vegan neighborhood.
