Three issues of "Le-Rire", May 1898-August 1899. French. Issues no. 186,195,249. Title pages illustrations: Joeph Reinach – a supporter of Alfred Dryefus, Georges Clemenceau – A supporter of Dreyfus and a future Interior Minister and Edgar Deamnge, the lawyer of Dreyfus in his 1894 trial.
"Le-Rire" was a satiric weekly richly illustrated. The attitude of the paper to the Dreyfus Affair was relatively moderate. Three issues, 30 cm. 12 pp per issue, most of the issues in good condition. Several leaves loose or detached.
