1. Grodno by Eliyahu Gozansky. Tel-Aviv: Tarbut La'am, 1945. Yiddish.
A novel authored by Eliyahu Gozansky, one of the communist party leaders. Gozansky wrote "Grodno"following an article in "Ha'aretz" newspaper about the extermination of 45 thousand of Grodno Jews by the Nazis. The article described how Grodno Jews were lead to death, headed by the head of the congregation, attorney Yitzchak Gozansky, Eliyahu's father.
50, [2] pp, 16.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Creases. Stains (mostly on cover). Loose cover, damaged. Pen inscription on inner side of front cover.
2. Di oysratubg fun Lodzer Idn, extermination of Lodz Jews, by A. Wolf Jasni. Published by the organization of Jews from Lodz in Israel, Tel-Aviv, 1950. Yiddish (introduction in Hebrew).
A book documenting the Lodz Ghetto until its destruction. Written by Avraham Wold Jasny (1893-1968), author and journalist in the Yiddish newspaper "Letzte Nayes". Accompanied by photographs and charts.
[2], XI, [2], 72 pp, fair condition. Numerous stains. Firt leaf and cover are partly detached. Scribbles in pen and pencil. Some folds at corners of leaves. Stained cover, with tears (some open) at margins and spine.
3. Sefer Megilat Mordechai, telling some of my hardships under the Nazis…by Mordechai Miller. Jerusalem, [1959].
52 pp, 16.5 cm. Good condition. Some stains. Some tears and damages to binding. Spine restored with a strip of cloth.
