Interesting letter by the Ga'on Rabbi Asher Ze'ev Werner Av-Beit-Din Tiberias. Tiberias, 1950.
The Rabbi encourages the addressee who is about to face a trial in court, with talismans for success.
Rabbi Asher Ze'ev Werner (1894-1958, Otzar Ha-Rabanim 3583), Well-known Ga'on and Kabbalist. Born in Jerusalem, disciple of Rabbi Moshe Kliers in Yeshivat "Or Torah" in Tiberias. After Rabbi Kliers passed away in 1934, he was summoned according to Rabbi Kliers will to replace him as Rosh Yeshivah and Av-Beit-Din Tiberias. Rabbi Werner was friendly with Rabbi Yehudah Leib Ashlag. Served as president of "Po'aley Agudat Yisrael" and member of Mo'etzet Gedoley Ha-Torah. Rabbi Avraham Dov Auerbuch, presently Av-Beit-Din Tiberias, is his son in law. (See attached material).
