A large goblet with decorated stem. An engraved dedication on the goblet: "Ihrem Langjährigen geschätzten vorstandsmitgled Louis Wyler, September 1933, Isr. Kultursgemeinde, Baden". [to our esteemed friend Louis Wyler, September 1933, the Jewish congregation, Baden]
Louis Wyler (1872-1960), native of Baden, Germany, participated in the first Zionist Congress, covered the Dreyfus affair as a journalist, fought in WW I and was a political and cultural activist (for further information see attached material).
