Shnei Luchot HaBrit, with introduction Vavei Ha'Amudim. [Frankfurt an der Oder, 1717]. Some 100 handwritten glosses, with scholarly content in Halacha and aggada. In some of the glosses, the writer notes things written in his books and in his book of responsa Eitan Aryeh. In many glosses, the writer notes the yichus of his family, many leading figures throughout the generations (the Levush, Maharsha, Taz, Tevu'at Shor etc.) are mentioned with an acronym for My Master, My Father, My Grandfather or My Great-uncle.
Rabbi Avraham Aryeh Rosen (1870-1952), Rabbi of Foltshen, an outstanding genius, Chortkov Chassid. Served in the rabbinate of the communities of Most, Buhuşi, Moineşti, Fëlticeni, Bucharest. Author of the Eitan Aryeh responsa printed in Jerusalem by his son Rabbi Moshe David Rosen (the Chief Rabbi of Romania).
