Rabbi Eliyahu Hacohen Ha'itmari of Izimir [Otzar Harabbanim 2129], the son of Rabbi Shlomo Ha'itmari. One of the greatest sages of Izimir. Passed away in 1729. This book was the first of his essays to be published. Authoured "Midrash Talpiyot", "Me'il Tzedakah", "midrash Eliyahu".
Remnants of signatures and ownership inscriptions on both sides of title page – "This is the book of----Rabbi Noach Ashkenazi".
