This edition was printed by Rabbi Moshe of Pinsk, the Gaon's son-in-law. Printed on verso of title page, approbations and warning of Vilna Beit-din not to publicize the Gaon's sayings in print without permission "that nobody should listen or believe anything said in the name of the Gaon HaChassid… until it is completely clear that they were written by the Gaon… and surely it is forbidden to print anything in the name of the Gaon until it is clear…".
