Shavu Shavu. [Published by B. Barlevy, Tel-Aviv, second half of 1950s].
All the continents of the world are drawn in the center of the board, above them the contour of the map of Israel (without Judea, Samaria and Gaza). A frame, divided into squares, surrounds the map. Within each square is an illustration representing a country, the name of this country, population and number of Jews living there. On the corner appears a square with the map of Israel and by its side a list of key-dates (in Herzl's time, World War I, beginning of the Independence War and more) and the number of Jews in Palestine on each of these dates.
The goal of the game was to "arouse in the players worldwide the wish to immigrate to Israel, to build it and settle in it…" (A Trip across the Country, Games from Mr. Barlevy's Store, 2014, p. 103).
50X34.5 cm. Good condition. Stains. Creases. Tears and slight fractures at margins. Left margin is slightly trimmed.
