Shanah Tovah letter from Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Brooklyn, New York, [Elul] 1958.
Typewritten on the Rebbe's official stationery, with his signature in English.
Sent to a Jewish couple in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: "With the approach of Rosh Hashanah, the begining [!] of the New Year… I send you and all yours my prayerful wishes for a good and happy year, materially and spiritually" (English). Above his signature, the Rebbe added "Ketivah VaChatimah Tovah" (in Hebrew).
