"Shana Tovah" greeting card. [Germany?, ca. 1880s].
A fine greeting card with a relief of a synagogue and a printed German greeting: "Glück und Segen zum neuen Jahr". On the margins of the card is a handwritten inscription in Hebrew by "Nathan Aryeh son of Rabbi Zimmer" – greetings for the year 5644 [1884], with commentary and Gematria according to the Kabbalah and the Ari's writings.
6.5X10.5 cm. Good conditions. Tiny blemishes to margins. Stains on verso.
