Seven plates showing photographs that were taken at the International Exhibition of Chicago (the Colombian Exhibition) in 1893. The photographs are captioned in English on the plates.
The photographs show: * Nazha Kassik and Rahlo Jammel, two Jewish dancers, one from Jerusalem and the other from Beirut, who appeared at "The Moorish Palace" of the exhibition. * R.J. Levi, a Jew from Istanbul, director of "The Turkish Village" of the exhibition. * Three Jews from Istanbul sitting in "The Turkish Village", smoking a narghile and drinking coffee. * Solomon Levi, a Jew from Cairo, who supervised the display of "Sudanese Warriors in Cairo Street". * Far-Away Moses – an elderly Jew from Istanbul. * Rebecca Meise Alithensii, a 27-year-old Jewess from Istanbul.
