Pages 31-35 contain signature of Rabbi “Aryeh Leib Berlin” – (born in 1737 in Fürth – passed away in 1814). Famous genius of his generation, proficient in all books of Babylonian and Jerusalemite Talmud. Well-versed in Kabbalistic Torah as well. Av Beit Din of Bamberg, Kassel and entire region of Hausen and Westphalia. His Chidushim appear in books of his brother, Rabbi Noach Tzvi, “Atzei Arazim” – who even named this book by name of this brother. Scholars of his generation deferred to Rabbi Leib Berlin as the supreme Torah authority (see, for example, Chochmat Betzalel by Rabbi Betzalel Rensburg, Niddah 39, 2; responsa Ribam Shneituch, in several places; and more – see attached material).
