Seder HaTamid, "siddur according to the rite of the four communities", Part I with weekday, Rosh Chodesh, Chanukah, Purim and other prayers, and Part II with Shabbat and festival prayers, Pirkei Avot, songs and piyyutim, edited by R. Eliyahu Karmi. Avignon: printer not indicated, 1767. Two volumes.
Siddur according to rite of the Arba Kehilloth, four communities in the Venaissin region in southern France: Carpentras, Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Cavaillon.
At beginning of first volume, approbations of Carpentras rabbis.
Two volumes. Volume I: [3], 12, 22-39, 45-56, 70-136, 136-142, [10], 4 leaves. Lacking 30 leaves: 13-21, 40-44, 57-69, 143, and leaves 5-6 of last sequence. Volume II: [1], 104, 106-228, [1] blank leaf; 33, [1] leaves. Leaves 5-8, 130-133 of first sequence detached and slightly larger (supplied from another copy). 18-20 cm. Volume I in overall good-fair condition, volume II in fair-good condition. Stains; many stains to some leaves of both volumes. Light wear. Tears and open tears to several leaves of both volumes, mainly to first leaves of second volume, including title page, affecting text, repaired with paper filling. Close trimming bordering text, slightly affecting title frame of second volume. New bindings (uniform).
Only a few Hebrew books were published in Avignon in the 18th and 19th centuries.
