Signatures of the Mekubal Rabbi "Ya'akov Lopez", and many glosses in his handwriting, on intentions of Pesach seder.
Rabbi Ya'akov [Lopez] Lopes (1887-1936), a leading Torah scholar and mekubal in Aleppo and Jerusalem, already as a young man was recognized as "one of the thirty six tzaddikim of his generation". In 1913, he immigrated to Jerusalem and joined the "Rechovot Hanahar" Yeshiva for mekubalim headed by his friend Rabbi Chaim Shaul Devich (Harav HaSadeh), and was renowned as one of greatest mekubalim who knew proper intentions of yichudim according to kabbalah. Written on his tombstone "The Rabbi, the Chassid, the G-dly Mekubal, Complete Tzaddikג€¦ Rabbi Ya'akov son of Rabbi Nissim Lopes, died 17th of Kislev 1936". See attached material.
