Two letters in handwriting and signature of the righteous Ga’on Rabbi Eliyahu Lopian; in first letter he signs “Elya son of Rabbi Ya’akov Lopian” and in second he signs “Elya Lopian former Rosh Yeshiva of Etz Chaim in London”. Jerusalem, (1960).
The righteous Ga’on Rabbi Eliyahu Lopian (1876-1970, Otzar HaRabbanim 2136). Among prominent rabbis and luminaries of the Mussar movement. Holy and pure genius [it is known that the Rebbe of Gur author of the “Sefat Emet” attested that he merited the “revelation of Eliyahu”]. Torah giant and educator. Rosh Yeshiva of Kelm and later on Rosh Yeshiva of “Etz Chaim” in London. Immigrated to Eretz Yisrael and served as spiritual director of Yeshivat Kfar Chassidim. Some of his discourses were printed in the series of books of “Lev Eliyahu”.
