Many ancient glosses, brief and lengthy, in old Ashkenazi handwriting (some cut off or faded). It is possible that the comments are from a few writers. Ancient signature within the title page decoration: "Asher son of Rabbi Shimshon Shapiro known as Anshil of Neustadt". Glosses on leaves 51 and 92 signed A"SH R. [The Maharna"sh Av Beit Din of Horodֵˆa and Posen author of "Imrei Shefer", son of Rabbi Shimshon Shapiro Av Beit Din of Posen - perhaps his brother or relative?]. Additional signature on title page by "Ya'akov Bar Avraham from [Giginheim Yazinbach?]". Additional signatures from a later period, from the 1800s. Signature and censorship glosses, censorship ink stamp.
