Diploma, granted to the pupil Sarah Amster. The Jewish school "Safa Berura" in Sanok, South Poland (Western Galicia), 1921.
A printed diploma, stating the pupil's "virtues" in handwriting: excellent polite behavior, constant diligence, very good general progress, etc. In 1921 several neighboring villages were annexed to Sanok which became a large provincial town; the extended town was populated by 12,000 citizens, including 4391 Jews. Leaf 34 cm. Folding-marks and minor damages.
