Copy no. 26 from a limited edition of 120 copies. Elegant edition of the Book of Psalms, translated into German by Moses Mendelssohn. Five chapters, each opening with an illustration and an illuminated initial, all woodcuts by Joseph Budko. Two additional woodcuts by Budko appear at the beginning and end of the book. Original vellum-covered boards, with gilt design on front. [1] f., 280 pp., [3] ff., 29.5 cm. Good condition. Foxing and dampstains (some dark). Provenance: The Rimon Family Collection.
