Poster explaining the austerity policy imposed on the public in Israel in the years 1949-1959. At the center is a clock with the inscription "Tsav Ha'Sha'ah" [The Times Oblige]. Beneath it is an inscription reading: "Aliyah / Absorption / Security" and "Austerity / Financial Stability" (Hebrew).
96.5X67.5 cm. Good condition. Folding marks and slight defects. Tears to margins, most reinforced with adhesive tape to verso. Pencil markings on the bottom and back of the poster.
