Collection of humorous stories about Jewish characters which were written for a Christian audience, accompanied by four engraved plates depicting four Jewish figures in a stereotypically anti-Semitic way. The book also contains a folded plate – musical notes of a song.
[1] leaf, 1-144, 161-365 pp + [1] plate (folded) and [4] engraved plates. Missing pp. 145-160 and a folded plate. Approx. 13.5 cm. Stains. Wormholes in the first and last leaves. A piece is cut off from the title page (affecting text). The title page is restored with a piece of paper mounted on verso. The lower margins of several leaves are trimmed (not affecting text). New binding and endpapers.
