A pillow case made from a "Rachel's Tomb" carpet made by "Bezalel", Jerusalem, [prior to 1914].
Carpet – wool threads woven on a cotton warp; fabrics and filling.
On the center appears Rachel's Tomb. The inscription "Bezalel" Yerushalem" appears on the upper part and on the lower part appears the inscription "Rachel's Tomb". The word "Zion" appears on the borders.
The carpet has been re-used and was sewn on fabric and integrated as a front cover of a decorative pillow (professional sewing, meant, most probably to preserve the carpet).
