Group photograph of eight workers in Sejera, 1905.
A dedication on the reverse "for eternal souvenir and token of friendship to the great Dov Sakivin one of young Russian workers in Sejera 1905". Seven signatures, among them Shmuel Hashimshoni who was one of the first workers in Sejera and was elected to be one of the tenant-farmers who were candidates for permanent settlement. Dov Sakivin immigrated to Israel with the first comers of the Second Aliya, specialized in agricultural work in Sejera and later moved to Kfar Saba and was one of the first settlers and heads of the settlement. Participated in the founding of "HaPoel Hatzair" and was an activist during the first years.
15X20 cm, fair-poor condition. Faded and flaking photograph, stains, tear. Mounted on cardboard.
