Photo album that records ceremony held in honor of Chaim Weizmann after he was elected to serve as President of Israel, 1949.
At the beginning of the album are 12 leaves of text, with the name “Megilat Yovel HaNassi” that relates the activities of Weizmann for the benefit of the Jewish People. In the album are 13 photographs of the ceremony held by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in honor of Weizmann. During the ceremony he was given a small Torah Scroll with a decorated cover, and a pair of Torah Finials by the first Minister of Religious Affairs Rabbi Yehudah Leib Fishman Maimon.
