Torah finials. [North Africa, end of 19th century].
Silver (partly gilded), sawn, engraved and impressed.
A frame (cartouche) is engraved on each stem. The inscription "Magen David" is engraved on one and the other is blank. The perimeter of each finial is adorned by six birds and with six sawn "windows" in two rows. In each window, a bell is hanging. At the top of each finial is a crown-like ornamentation and four hooks with bells hanging at their tips and another bird.
