Dibere Haberith, Briefe der ausgezeichnetsten Rabbiner und Rabbiner-Collegien der vorzüglichsten israelitischen Gemeinden Deutschlands, Pohlen und Italien. Altona, 1819. German."Ele Divrei HaBrit" was published in Altona in 1819 following reforms carried out by the Hamburg community to liturgic texts and customs, such as introducing an organ into the synagogue, using the German language in prayers and other such changes. These reforms were the harbingers of the reform movement in Germany. This book contains a collection of letters by Torah leaders who strongly opposed the reforms, including a letter by Rabbi Akiva Eiger, the Chatam Sofer, Maharam Bennet, etc. This book is the German edition, published the same year as the Hebrew edition. 91 pp. 15 cm. Good condition. Damp staining and foxing.

The last will and testament of the jeweler Michael Salomon Freyhan (1752-1826); apparently published by the trustees of his property. The booklet opens with an introduction including a short biography of Freyhan, written by banker and author Markus Bär Friedenthal. Includes pages handwritten in German – official papers from 1830 regarding Freyhan's will. OCLC lists only one copy. [1] leaf, VII, 35, [4] pp, 20 cm. Good condition. Foxing. Slight damage. Slightly worn cardboard binding, with tears at margins and spine.
