The photomontage is composed of two photographs attached to each other and stamped on verso with the stamp "Photo Dr. Gidal".

An album with ten photographs and a handmade embroidered cover – a souvenir from a Youth Aliyah group at Stock's Farm. Passover 1943.
Stock's Farm was established by the Italian Stock family of industrialists in 1925. During the 1930s and 1940s, the farm was used for training hundreds of young people within the framework of the Youth Aliyah, and after the War of Independence it was "sold" for a symbolic price to the State of Israel. It had an orchard, fields and chicken coops. Today, the farm stands empty and neglected and its buildings are falling apart.
This album contains ten photographs (one photograph on each leaf; captioned by hand), documenting the lives of the boys and girls on the farm: planting potatoes, plowing, pruning trees, the chicken coop, the farmhouse, and more.
The album has a cloth cover with an embroidery – an illustration of the farmhouse and two trees. A handwritten Hebrew dedication on the inside front cover reads: "To Joseph! For Passover, from your friends on the farm. Passover 1943".
Size of photographs varies. Album: approx. 11X15 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes. Stains on the binding.

War Time Views of Jewish Palestine – photograph album. Published by the Histadrut General Federation of Jewish Labour in Palestine ("with the compliments of the executive committee"), 1943.
An album with 20 black-and-white photographs depicting the settlement and building enterprises in Palestine, soldiers, a military parade, small industries, agriculture, and more. The photographer's name is not noted. The photographs are mounted on the leaves of the album and are captioned on notes printed in Hebrew and English. The album is bound in a straw binding, with an inlaid piece of carved wood with a map of Palestine on its front.
Photographs: 11X14 cm. on average. Album: 24.5 cm. Good condition. A few stains. Minor blemishes to the margins of the binding. One of the bolts of the binding is not original.

An album with approx. 200 photographs, documenting approx. three years of the life of a Jewish young man in Palestine: service in the Jewish Settlement Police, studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and trips around the country. Jerusalem, Atlit, Peki'in, Capernaum and elsewhere, ca. 1944-1946.
At the beginning of the album, approx. 40 photographs documenting the man's service in the Jewish Settlement Police – tent camps, weapons training, building the new police station of the unit, raising the flag on the Victory Day of the Allies (8.5.1945) and additional photographs. Later, there are many photographs documenting his life as a student in Jerusalem – the buildings of the Hebrew University, visits to the Old City, the bombing of the British Criminal Investigation Department building in the Russian Compound of Jerusalem, and photographs documenting trips around the country – Atlit, Ashdot Ya'akov, Peki'in, Capernaum, the zoo in Tel-Aviv, a visit to the Maccabee Village on Shavu'ot and more.
Many of the photographs are captioned in handwriting on the leaves and some are captioned on verso. Some of the photographs are stamped on verso with the stamps "Technofoot, Beit HaKronot, Haifa" (Hebrew) and "Approved Military Photographer".
The photographs are arranged in an album with mounting corners. Size and condition vary. Good overall condition. Some of the photographs are detached. Album: approx. 23X32 cm. Blemishes and tears to binding.
