Title page contains signature of Rabbi “David Tebele Berlin” and his stamp “Tebele Berliner of Gombin” – Rabbi David Tebele Berlin (son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak Reich of Gombin) immigrated in his old age to Jerusalem in the late 1740’s, son of Rabbi Shlomo Berlin Av Beit Din of Prenzlau and London, and son of son of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Av Beit Din of Berlin. Many erased stamps of “Beit Midrash Menachem Zion in the Churva Synagogue of Rabbi Yehudah HaChassid in Jerusalem”. Title page contains notation in handwriting of Rabbi Yosef Zundel of Salant [who was in charge of the library of the Menachem Zion Beit Midrash]: “From the estate of Rabbi David Tebele for the Menachem Zion Beit Midrash”. Leaf 40 and leaf 58 contain notations in his holy handwriting “Menachem Zion”. [The handwriting is definitely identical to the signed notations of Rabbi Zundel in the Kedem catalogue, auction 12 item 343].
