Manuscript containing two responsa handwritten and signed by Rabbi Avraham son of R' Shmuel Meyuchas. [Jerusalem, beginning of 18th century].
Author's autographic writing with additions and erasures. These responsa were printed (with many variations) in his book Sde HaAretz (Part 3, Livorno, 1798), Yoreh Deah, Siman 24; Orach Chaim, Siman 17.
Rabbi Avraham Meyuchas (1699-1769), author of Sde HaAretz, a prominent Jerusalem Torah scholar and one of the Chida's teachers. Brother and member of the Beit Din of Rishon L'Zion Rabbi Refael Meyuchas, author of Pri Ha'Adama. Outstanding Torah prodigy and lofty tsaddik, he was renowned for his piety and Kabbalistic knowledge. Studied at the Beit Ya'akov - Ferrara Yeshiva, founded by the author of the Or HaChaim HaKadosh.
