Three title pages, the first is illustrated with an engraving depicting Moses and Aharon and the Kodesh HaKodashim (Holy of Holies). The second title page is in Hebrew and the third is in Latin. Latin introduction and Hebrew poem: "Torat Olam…".
Two columns per page. Rabbi Aryeh Levine was accustomed to using a Bible from this edition, printed in 1701, for the execution of Goral HaGra according to the special tradition passed on to him from the Vilna Gaon, through his teachers, the heads of the Volozhin Yeshiva. [For information about the famous Goralot (lots) performed by Rabbi Aryeh Levine for identifying the bodies of the Lamed Heh convoy that died in service, see the enclosed copy of the book "Ish Tsaddik Haya", pp. 113-117, with a photo of the Bible in which the Goral was performed].
