1. Olive wood box, printed on the lid: “Jerusalem”. Inside the box are 21 small boxes with samples of herbs, seeds and plants from the Holy Land; next to these are 8 rectangular pieces of wood, from trees growing in the country. Also enclosed are a piece of wool and a reed pen, as well as a booklet "The Plants of the Bible" published by Fr. Vester & Co., American Colony, Jerusalem. Box: 16X22 cm. Good condition.
2. Wooden box, Souvenir of Palestine. Within the box is a glass bottle created in Hebron with water from the Jordan River (most of the water evaporated), a sachet made of "Damascus Silk" with soil from Mount Moriah, a piece of clay from the Roman period found in excavations in Ashkelon and several tiny shells in a folded piece of paper. Enclosed is a printed tri-lingual booklet with pressed flowers from Judea. Box: 12.5X7.5 cm. Good condition. Small break.
