Druze dagger, the Golan Heights, [mid-20th century].
Knife: steel; handle: wood, bone and colorful bone inserts; scabbard: brass tin.
This dagger belongs to the Druze dagger type; a handmade knife, popular among the Druze and Bedouin's. Fine daggers are stamped with the family or the clan's crest. The blade of this dagger is curved in a typical way and has a decorative design on both sides. The scabbard has decorations and two rings. The Handle is decorated with pieces of wood, bone and colorful bone inserts in pink and light blue.
