The Ga’on Rabbi Natan Fraider (1803-1857), Dayan in Tzehlim (Hungary) and successor of Rabbi Moshe Segal Gluga as Av Beit Din in the city. settled in Tsharna and was appointed as rabbi of the congregation. Corresponded with the Chatam Sofer. [ see: Personalities in the Responses of the Chatam Sofer, page 319]. The Ga’on Rabbi Meir Kitza (passed away before 1815), Dayan in Tzehlim [see attached material].
