Rabbi Akiva Wertheimer-Breslau (passed away 1838, Otzar Ha-Rabbanim 16779) of the prominent sages of Germany, Av Beit Din Luebeck, Meislingen and Altona, and Av Beit Din of the entire Schleswig Holstein state. Since 1823 replaced Rabbi Mendel Hirsch Frankfurter [grandfather of Rabbi Shimshon Rafael Hirsch] in the Altona Rabbinate and was the first Rabbi to be appointed Rosh Av Beit Din of Altona alone (after the separation of the AHW communities).
